To disappear is bliss

To disappear is bliss
to embrace that nothingness
to slip away somewhere and
to drift and not be missed
to succumb to my darkness

no open scars to mend
no reasons to pretend
no sadness waiting here
no tears left to cry again
no feelings to defend

and now I’m free from fear
and everything is clear
and solitude is bliss
and there is naught to hear
and now I disappear
