Touch

by Falling Again   Mar 15, 2007

We move around each other so fragile, as if we dared to touch one another,we'd brake,or burn to ash.

I'm careful not to touch you,
not to stare to long,
careful not to smile to sweetly.

You avoid me the same,no hug,
no gentle hand on my arm.

As if we dared to touch,we'd be committing some unspeakable sin.

You move purposely,
trying not to encounter me,no brushes,
no glances from your eyes.

We move as if we never loved
