Him

One by one
the tears from her eyes fall down her face
as the thoughts of him flood her mind
she has done so good to keep her mind clean from thoughts about him
she gets one thought about him and she dwells on what they had, what she would have changed
she wonders if they would ever be together again, ever be friends again
she holds on to the past hoping the future stays strong in the back of her mind
not sure if the truth will set her free
she doesn't know who to believe anymore
the people she loves or her mind, the one that made that mistake of taking over her heart or the ones that know her true heart and what she believes in
she wants to help him so much but isn't friends with him, it still hurts from what he did before
she knows she can do better that he really isn't worth being friends with but she can't help herself
she lost all common sense breaking up with him
she doesn't know what to do anymore
He floods her mind and prays about him
hoping the truth would once set her free
the flood of him in her mind went away
she still tends to think about him
