When We Kissed

by PullMeCloser   Mar 16, 2007

The moon is out
And we're outside on the swing
The stars are sparking
And you start to sing

The moment is perfect
Only one part could be better
But when I shiver you don't get the hint
You just give me your sweater

I bump your hand a few times.
You understand this clue.
You grab my hand
And say "I love you."

I say it back
And cuddle into your arm.
You hold me tight
And keep me warm.

I look up at you
And smile really wide.
You put your hand on the top of my shoulder
And run it down the side.

I kiss your neck
And you peck my forehead.
You know what I'm going to say
Without words being said.

I look up at you again.
The signal is clear and unmixed.
Your face gets closer to mine
And that's when we kissed.
