Can They Tell,

by PullMeCloser   May 2, 2007

Standing out in the
harsh summer heat My

enthusiasm pumping,
pushing them to love

and be thrilled by
such an activity, growing

anxious for time to fly?
Do they know what secretely

lies behind my excitement?
Can they tell what puts
that smile on inside and out?

I wonder if they know
I stay up until all hours just for

the simple sound of your
voice, words of love and
sending me sweet dreams?

Do they realize that despite
my love for the flag, I'd give
all of that (and everything else)
up just for you?

Behind their hands, do they
whisper that they can tell that
I'm in love?
