Explain Love.

Love is an emotion,
That we can not explain,
It will make you feel alive,
Or leave you dead from pain.

Its a thing that some do hope for,
Some do wish to forget,
Others are in its clutches,
While some lie cold and dead.

Its mostly near impossible
To describe just what it is,
Your tummy get some butterflies,
It makes you weak at the knees.

It makes you want to cry,
Tears of pain or joy,
Jump upon a hill,
Or scream in the rain.

It makes you feel alive,
More then you were before,
Or it can cast a shadow,
From which you'll be no more.

It makes us hurt,
It makes us cry,
It says i do,
And says goodbye.

I do know that Love to me,
Is to give my hear and soul,
To that special someone
For all eternity.
