A.L.

(June 2004)

Broken, torn
Guilt lies beneath
Lust, love
Fine lines fade

Lips entwined
Our passion ignites
Flames, chills
The world disappears

Your touch
is my demise
my weakness
you have found

reality hits me
I open my eyes
I find myself
Lost in you

Left someone home
yearning for one
can't let go
still need the other.

I really like this poems...so short but it shows so much.... a peice of advice i could give you would be you could do without the last stanza ....it kind of is unnessecary... it could stop at "lost in you" and it would have more of an impacting finish
