An Old Guitar

by Lyndsay Kalyta   Mar 20, 2007

An old guitar,
Two people meant to be
One room,
Where no one's there to see

Two hearts,
Beating at the same time
One voice,
Singing softly in rhyme

One girl,
Being swept away
Two eyes,
Having a million things to say

One boy,
Pouring out his heart
Two hands,
Promising a brand new start

One sky,
With a very special star
One new life,
Built from an old guitar

Its amazing, the music that can be made between two hearts. This one captures the harmony of a perfect duet whether they both know it or not it is natural. I do like it a lot. I give it a 5.

It's simple and clear, true feelings magically described! I loved the writing style, it just says it all! xxx
