Just a little girl

by robin milford   Mar 21, 2007

You touched me when I was a kid
to make matters worse
you took advantage
of the fact I needed love.
I can't believe you did what you did.
you cam back again like a curse
to take advantage
of my love.

Time and time again
you hurt me and used me
for your sick pleasure.
It saddens me to think
of you trying this again.
I want to be free
of your pressure.

So I sit and drink
to try and erase what you did.
I am glad you are away
long away from here
so I may have peace.
I wish I could have hid
or ran far away.
You whispered in my ear
give me a piece.

I try to drown
out your voice with booze
and heavy rock tunes.
I just become a clown.
Your voice is toxic ooze.
I should be watching cartoons
instead of having a battle to fight
every single night.

Since then many years
have past but not my fears.
They stay
never to stray or go away.
Till the day
comes that they say
your dead and gone
It won't be done.
I am stuck with this frown
till you let me be on my own.
