If You Were Here

If you were here,
would you tell me you loved me,
would you tell me i was special to you.

If you were here,
would you grasp my crying head,
just to tell me that everything was going to be fine,

If you were here,
would you kiss me softly,
would you grasp my hand and make me touch your face,
just to let me know you are real,

If you were here,
that's what i keep telling myself,
but to even think, that you even could be with me now,
would be something far to emotional for me.

But if you were here,
i would tell you,
i've always wanted to be with you,
and i dreamt of your kiss, and your hand in mine.

But your not here,
you're kiss is not alive,
your hand is cold and dry,
you're not here.
But i would love it if you were.

    just to let me know you are real, = personally, i'd change that to "that you're"
