I may be blind, deaf and dumb

by Mads Avnboeg   Mar 22, 2007

I may be blind, deaf and dumb
But some do all ways shine through
And that some is you
Hence this smile
Not just for a while
But all day long
It may be the right time for a song
Nice is your Rhymes
They stand out like Hymns
Like tubular bells
They bring sweet and touchy feelings
Hopes and glory
So fine your stories
That they my heart melts
Like fine spells
They linger on
And bring me warmth
Best of wishes to you my smiling friend
Hope that you'll find serenity
Where ever you are
You'll be a shining star
Lighten up the heaven
Up there high in the northern sky

Thanks Michelle, I road it to a female friend as a thanks. I am glad you like it. I have been reading you poems, and there are really god, you may be young woman but an old spirit. I am glad you enjoyed it, though it may be a little cliched.

I really liked it. I thought the beginning was good, a little weak, but here,
    "They stand out like Hymns
    Like tubular bells.."
Is where I started to get pulled in. I love your symbolism, and the flow of the poem really worked for you. Your words were lyrical, and lovely, and I liked how you incorporated little cliche lines into the piece. I really enjoyed it
