Here is my story
For those who'd like to hear
And i have to say I'm sorry
For i might make you shed a tear.

My life is like a game
And if you want to join
Just write down your own name
And please insert a coin.

It's not so easy being me
And that you can probably see:
My name stands next to "Lousiest score"
On the screen of every game of every store.

As days go by my score gets worse
For I'm the worst player in the universe
Of this game that could be "Mario Land"
But here there is no fairy with her magic wand
To give me strength when i most need it
Or show me the way when i can't see it.

And... What if Super Mario doesn't want to play anymore?
Can he scream until his lungs are sore?
Can he decide not to pick up anymore stupid lives?
Cause if one day arrives
And he wishes he died? And tries to commit suicide?
Is there any place in Mario land where he can hide?
Cause even when the power-bar isn't too high
He still finds the strength to cry
And wishes he wouldn't be seen
By you, players, staring at him through the screen.

And now, what if i was in Super Mario's place?
What if on his head there was my face?
And i hardly get to pass to the next level
Where i know the battle is even more cruel
And when the struggle is finally done,
The monster i was dealing with has won
And a message appears on my screen:
"You have let your opponent win.
Glory and victory belong to the monster.
Too bad for you, the game is OVER."
