My Last Night

by XSugarSexSuicideX   Mar 22, 2007

It’s my last night,
I should tell you,
How much I love you,
How I feel.
My clothes, my jewels,
My everything,
You split it among my friends,
How could we even start to think
That we could stop this end?
My love, my heart,
My memories,
My family needs to get,
We tried to run away
From our sorrows, our tears so wet.
Everything I ever knew
And everything I gave,
Just let them all remember
That my life, no one should save.
I'm writing this to say goodbye,
This world has been too cruel,
And everyone should know right now,
That I never followed rules.
I tried to listen to the teacher,
But ended up with wisecracks,
I tried to talk about smart-people things,
But ended up talking about sex and smack.
I was a good kid,
I guess I still am,
I stayed innocent, for the most part,
But what it all comes down to
Is that, in the end,
They broke my heart.
I'm sorry that I have to be
The one to tell you it’s goodbye,
Better for you to read it now,
Than know, and try to stop me
Before I die.
