I wish....

This isn't one of my best ones but I'm not used to writing love poems. hope u like it though. ems XXX

i wish you could see what you put me through
everything i did, i did it for you,
i wish you could see the tears rolling down my face
as i sit there staring into a dark deadly place,
i wish you would whisper in my ear at night
so i don't have to sleep by myself in fright,
i wish you would have said "i love you" so i could say it back
but those are the 3 words i will miss and lack,
i wish i could cause you as much pain as you caused me
but i can only sit and wish you were back with me,
i wish i could let you go and stop thinking of what could have been
but i can only sit here and think about this deadly sin,
i carved your name into my arm
just to prove you did all this harm,
i now lay buried so deep in the ground
and you would not believe how much love i have found,
so with this final wish I'll soon leave you
i wish you could have been my hero to save me from all this pain
but now we'll never know how much you could have gained.
