A poem for our soldiers

by the love of another fills my soul   Mar 22, 2007

A place so cold and desolate,
not even the wind blows to comfort the silence.
Instantly the land seems to have come ablaze,
running to a haven through blood soaked dirt is the only way to go.
Passing fellow soldiers wounded and helpless,
but no time to stop.
Finally an oasis of safety,
but comfort has not yet come. Fore now you're scared with the memory of leaving another behind.

    The emotion in this one is amazing, the special care for detail is what pushes it to perfection. Check your spelling towards the end, my skills arent that great, but I think somethings wrong

    {5/5}
