The Only Thing That Keeps Me Alive

The only thing I know,
is the one thing I do best.
It makes me forget all my foes,
it doesn't let me rest.

It helps me to feel
there's nothing I can't do.
I know this fantasy is real.
It always helps me through.

I love it so much.
If it was gone I would die.
All I have to do is touch,
and it makes me feel alive.

    Sounds great when I read it but the title is misleading. I can't really figure out what exactly is keeping you alive in this piece. It is described is there something hidden I'm not seeing.
