Everynight i would look at the stars,
thinking that maybe one day you & i
will be together.

for the girl you love,
i really envy her.
your always talking about her.
always smiling when u see her.
always thinking about her.

and im here staying at that dark corner,
pretending you guys are a good match.
pretending that i love someone else.
talking about a guy who i don't love.

why do we have to be friends?
why can't we just be together and be happy?
i wonder if you would like me if she never existed.
why can't you just see me as a girl loving you,
not as a friend.
