Torment's Dormant

by Gasttlee   Mar 24, 2007

We all know about pain,
for it always tries to keep us in vain.

Our lives have tribulation
to test our determination.

We experience turmoil
as falling in foil.

We all know it's tormenting
as it is threatening.

It keeps us in the dark
swallowing as a shark.

Not many people care
until directly there.

No one says they have no experience,
for that is a lie of interference.

Some people think pain easily goes away,
but at times that's easier to say.

It's so sad
it makes you mad.

It's a shame
like no game
or having no fame.

It takes away the very best
that we wish it would forever rest.

There's no way to hide it,
just unwind it.

Don't ever let your pain steer you wrong,
for even the worst of it will make you strong.

Excellent poem, I especially liked the lines:

"Our lives always have a tribulation
    to test our determination."

And the last verse, was very good aswell.
You got a way with words, very interesting.
