I cant let you go

I sent roses to the one
who broke my heart,mutilated everything
i possessed within my soul.

i wrote love letters to the one
who tore me apart,the one who
kissed me then left me in the dark

i went to the moon for the one
who stole my warmth and left me to stay
forever in December.

i gift wrapped my love for the one
who threw it away,i spent every moment
thinking of the one who wanted to forget.

i save every heartbeat for the one
who causes me atrophy.

will you promise to hold me up today
and tomorrow you can drop me
and watch me fall
even harder for you.

I'm sorry i insisted on loving you....
