A new discovery,
A brand new idea,
A poem a day,
To express how I feel.
Someday, haikus,
Someday, acrostic,
Someday, rhyming,
Someday, free verses,
Talk about school,
Talk about home,
Family and friends,
Lovers and curses.
A poem a day,
So we won’t miss too much,
The love of being together,
The warm and gentle touch.
A poem a day,
To remember Us by,
Until we’re together
For the rest of our lives.
