The Moon

by Rina   Mar 28, 2007

The pale light of the moon is like fluorescent lamp
Cold and colorless in the dark
It's looking down upon the earth
With a slight look of disdain

No one knows except for the ones
Who had spend a sleepless night
That the moonâ??s face is as ugly as can be
Lit full of greed and pride
The moon is cruel with a heart of stone
Burning with a spiritless tone which sounds like a moan

Its ugly face lit full of greed
The moon comes out each night
Vanishing at full speed
At every time of twilight

The moon is only a cold-hearted drone
But maybe, just maybe,
Couldn't it be, that it's just tired of being so alone?

To tell you the truth, I know exactly how you feel. Being alone is really bad and people can be so malicious to you when really, they don't know what it's like to be in a box your whole life. It's better to have someone to fight with then fight with yourself. But you're always loved by one person and that's why you're alive...
