Soldiers families

by Heather   Mar 29, 2007

Pictures of them fill my walls
faces without a name
their the troops overseas
and someones waiting for them at home

A little boy sits proudly at the front of the class
and as father day approaches he lets it pass
he's 7 years old, he's a soldiers son
celebration will have to wait
cause till his daddy come home the day is just a day

A little girl sit and waits for grandma to tuck her in
Her Mommy is in the army and isn't home yet
She's 4 years old and Cries every night
she doesn't understand why her mommy has to fight
another bedtime without her and more tears to cry

**Soldiers families pay the price when the soldiers aren't home**
