Memories

by Vodka   Mar 30, 2007

I watch,
as the memories fade.
While new ones are being made.

I'm missing the action
missing the fun.
Just sitting here
letting the old memories run.

Thinking of the past
how sweet it was
wishing it could last
longer than it did.

The world just passes by
while I let my memories fly.
I'm missing out
on all of the memories to come.

I really love this poem. its so deep and meaningful and true. you really express you're theme well. in response to your profile question- about your writer's block - go and so something you love- see some one you have deep feelings for, watch your favorite film, go to your favorite place- or do anything else that makes you feel something strong, ten try to write about it. i find this helps me, hope it helps you. xXx
