Substequent laughter the girls only betrayal [new]

by pirateRAWRR   Apr 1, 2007

Reminiscing she realizes she shares a love/hate relationship with her memories
looking back on the past brings expected laughter
and unexpected tears
if she couldn't remember she wouldn't miss you
it wouldn't hurt
and her tears wouldn't fall
she wouldn't pass a stranger
who had your eyes
or have to serve a customer
with a matching smile
she wouldn't be surrounded by a million aspects of you on the train
she wouldn't look at him
and wonder what was
what is
and what could've been
your dreams, her hopes
her weakness, your strength
the rain begins to fall
and she remembers to forget
