Those Blue Eyes

by Brianna Breakkdown   Apr 1, 2007

If someone would just take the chance
To look past what she puts on display
They might just see
What happened to her the other day

If someone would gaze past her appearance
And deep into her heart
They might just understand
What's tearing her apart

If someone would sit down and listen
And not announce what they think
They might just realize
Her life's literally on the brink

If someone would hold her hand
And guide her through the dark nights
They might just save
A life lost in lust and fright

But no one's looking in those blue eyes
The orbs that once held starry skies
She glowed and shone in the light of the sun
But she's hidden herself away from everyone

No one's looking in those blue eyes
That once dreamed of being able to fly
She soared and rose above it all, it seemed
But evil's happiness has been redeemed

If someone would offer their love
And promise to help her through
They might just find themselves
Finally realizing the truth

If someone would wipe away the tears
That she cries for her perverted betrayal
Maybe they could mend the heart
Of a young girl, broken and frail

If someone would flash a smile in her direction
Or maybe blow her a kiss
Maybe then they would understand
In her simple instant of bliss

If someone would help her pick up the pieces
To that broken and tender heart
Maybe they could initiate the journey
To her life's restart

But no one's looking in those blue eyes
Filled with the broken tears she cries
Raped and left alone to die
No one wants to understand why

No one's looking in those blue eyes
Betrayed by lust was the girl who once could fly
The blue eyes that stand all alone,
Approach her first; she wonâ??t say it on her own.
