Amaranthine

by Kalgalath   Apr 2, 2007

I will want you,
Until the end of these days
You don't seem to have a clue,
But then again, you may

You have given me hope
Though false it may be
It is difficult to cope,
And not to flee

I have tried so hard
Just to be with you
You won't let down your guard
You will not subdue

Who knows why?
I ask myself now and then
It only makes me cry,
Over and again

Perhaps you should endeavor
Let the wind sweep you off your feet
I hope this will never,
Once again repeat

Although keep in mind,
Whenever you want to meet
I will be waiting 'till the end of mankind,
I will be there in a heartbeat
