Lowest Angel

by Brianna Breakkdown   Apr 3, 2007

Lucifer
Highest angel of all
Famous in heaven
'Till he took the fall

Jealous of God
He wanted God's place
What he got instead
Was a hand in his face

A line was drawn
By God's hand
God was on one side
Lucifer on the opposite side of the sand

"Take your demons and go," God said
"You're no longer welcome here."
He was thrown from heaven
To be the angel of fear

A serpent in sheep's skin
He slithers around
That belly-dragging evil one
Hidden on the ground

A band of demons
All of his friends
Trying to win us over
Before their time ends

They know what's in store
What God has in plan
But they refuse to cross
That line in the sand

To alter our minds
Convince us to sin
To make us go against
The God we have within

But God has given us the power
To put them under our feet
Stomp them out
Until they're defeat

By God's name
We can tell them to leave
By Jesus His son
Satan, flee!

Satan by name
Took the fall
Lucifer is now
The lowest angel of all.
