St. Remy

by AllHailTheHeartbreaker   Apr 5, 2007

Remy's going out tonight
To disappear into the moonlight
And I'm not sure if he's alright-
he won't speak a word to me.
We're like Oreos and a pillow fight
Don't really match, but both feel right
And Remy's such a pretty sight
I just can't leave him alone.

Remy hums a lullaby
And I forget to wonder why
This prince can mourn but will not cry
I just don't see the point.
On our backs we watch the sky
Counting stars as they shoot by
And maybe I'll get my chance to fly
With Remy by my side.

Remy's writing silly lyrics
I sing them but you can't hear it
I'll give up when I see fit
But now is not the time.
Remy is a saint - or near it
His halo glows like its candle-lit
Yet his love is just a dirty trick
So I can't face myself...

Remy's leaving town tonight
I tried to go, but it wasn't right
So I just watch him drive out of sight
And now I'm all alone.
