To My Dad

by Monique Ozuna   Apr 7, 2007

I know you're worried about Justice
but tell me, cause I'm wondering for who,
Cause I already did my forgiveness
I know in the end, he'll pay his due;

I'm leaving it up to God
cause no more pain I will hold,
And I will not have you Dad
reminding me of my past load;

With the past, do what you want
and pray for Justice all day and night,
But I don't want any part of it
cause I left it up to God to fight;

In life I'm moving on,
and now the light I can see,
So about the past, you better leave me alone
or around you I won't be;

I'm not trying to be mean
but I'm tired of it all,
Cause I'm the one that seen
the pain caused by my fall;

I say, Thank The Lord
cause He helped me to my feet,
He took away my load
and falling down to my defeat;

But I'm gonna let you know, I love you, Dad
even though I know you won't forgive,
To do so, it's not so bad
cause if you did, happily we'll all live!
