Motherhood Calls

by KeyxMashingxParody   Apr 9, 2007

Remembering lost dreams,
She never could understand.
Dear old mother complaining,
About problems held in her hand.

Always wanting pity,
Always asking for a fight.
Everything I stand for,
She said it wasn't right.

All of the agony,
She put me through in vain.
No love ever came from her,
She always caused such pain.

Oh! Sweet mother,
Who has raised me since birth,
For everything I've done for you,
Did you accept it for what it's worth?

Stop shaking your head at me,
And just walk away again.
The turning point of our lives,
This battle has no end.

For every aching second,
You watched me hurt and fall.
There's something always missing,
When sweet Motherhood calls.

(I know there are a lot of poems about bad mothers on here, and I know that this topic is not knew and annoys some people, but I just needed to get this out. Thank you)
