A Feeling

by CarissalRADIOFACEl   Apr 10, 2007

There are things that I want
that I can't express in words,
things that might not even have a meaning.

I don't want rocks on my window
or roses at the door;
all I want... is a feeling.

Not candy, teddy bears, rings;
I want a feeling.

You ask constantly
why I'm quiet or spaced out,
well, here it is.

I want something more
than you opening doors for me,
I want to feel something in your kiss.

Not hours, minutes, seconds;
I want this.

I want things from you
that may be impossible,
but I want them, nonetheless.

I want butterflies,
and wringing hands,
and missing beats beneath my breast.

Not space, more, less;
I want... mess.

I want hands,
and warm, rough skin,
and hopes so high they reach the cieling.

I want you,
and I want me,
and... I want a feeling.

    Very cute. You had quite a bit of mistakes. The poem wasn't very organized. I think you should have made your stanzas or words more together. The flow was rocky. This poem could use work. I'll give you a 4 because the poem wasn't great just good.
    God Bless 4/5
