Once Upon A Time

by Edward Elric   Apr 10, 2007

It was long ago, once upon a time
A young love that was cut in it's prime
A dark night of anger and despair
Has replaced the days of a happy pair

I'll pack my tears away for the day
For they always come back at night
I still love you, in a way
But I've given up on the fight

I regret none of the things I said
Every word of love was true
And from all the blood I shed
I hope at least some meant something to you

Once upon a time, I loved you so
I cared for you more than you'll ever know
Once upon a time, I was happy only with you
And once upon a time, you felt the same way too
