That dad

by your letting me die baby   Apr 10, 2007

That dad

thinking of all the times you weren't there
brings a tear to my eye
as i realize you never cared

as I look into the mirror
I see you looking back

I have a part of you
because you are my dad
the dad I never had

left me at a young age
never to see your face

It hurts to know your gone
I just think to my-self what have I done wrong

If you seen me now
what would you say or do
would you think of all the things you put me threw
my god if you only knew

Growing up without you was cruel
going to bed every night thinking of you

tears fall from a young girls eyes
a beautiful face a dad left behind
that dad was mine
