I MIISS YOU

by Tessa   Apr 11, 2007

Salt water
Ran so willinging
Down the edge
Of my face
The time of my life
Ended in my mothers embrace
The burdens you lifted
My lips you kissed
You left me
Lost in transaltion
Lost in the mist
The pavement
So inviting
As a deathbed
You lay limp
I spent that very night
Crying over the bathroom sink
Policemen pulled back on my arms
Told me to be silent
It was hard to keep my mouth shut
Over the sound of the sirens
I yelled out your name
In hopes you would hear
And you'd back away
From the white lights
And come closer to me dear
My birthday ended chillinging
It haunts me every year
Although I loved him very much
I was forced to wipe up all my tears.
