This Time I'm Sorry Just Won't Do!

by Mary Howe   Apr 11, 2007

You told me that you felt so bad, and that you should have told the truth
I found out for myself and now I wish I never knew
You controlled the situation my fate was in your hands
But who the Hell were you to decide my life long plans?
You established who I'd be with, the length of time unknown! I'm not a genius but I could have made the decision on my own.
You insulted me.....my integrity, my person, my everything!
Your decision told me that you saw me as judge mental, maybe even heartless.
You were selfish! I came to a gun fight unarmed, unaware of what I had gotten into
You took advantage! Of me, of my love for you, and of my kindness.
We know the situation and that's all that's all that matters
Details aren't important
But I didn't have a chance
You took it from me!
