Greatly Apologetic

by Mary Howe   Apr 11, 2007

I'm sorry if I hurt you
I didn't want to make you cry
My heart is slowly breaking and I didn't want to live a lie
I know you wouldn't want that either
That's not at all what Love's about
Could you wake up every morning with the thought of walking out?
I didn't mean to lead you on and I understand the bond was strong
But to me this one commitment would have been more than life long
I was in it for the long haul, and no I wasn't scared, I just believe that as a woman I must be mentally prepared
So please before you hate me feel my thoughts and reconsider
And no matter what else happens
Don't let love make you bitter
