DROWNING

by lostsoul13   Apr 11, 2007

I'm [DROWNING]
in broad daylight
i am alone,
I'm [DROWNING] in a sea of red,
[BLEEDING],
in the dead of night
on a slab of cold concrete,
so cold, oh so very cold,
[NOT] moving,
so still, like a statue,
so numb, oh so very numb
can't feel anything,
[EVERYTHING] around me
is going so soft,
[BECOMING] a blur,
[EVERYTHING] is going so dark,
I'm [DROWNING] again,
into a sea of nothingness,
no reds, no colors,
only black and white and gray,
like a black-and-white television
from the old days,
so long ago
[WONDERING] what will happen now
[FADING] away
into black,
no more whites or grays,
only black,
[EVERYWHERE]
[FALLING] away,
into an endless black sea,
no light, can't see,
[ANYTHING] but black,
[EVERYWHERE]
black
I'm [DROWNING] again
into a sea of black,
[TOO LATE] to shout for help
[LOSING] strength
I'm [DROWNING]
cant see anything, not even black
I'm [DROWNING] forever...
