Six Months Ago

Six months ago my heart only cried,
distroyed by the pain left inside,
and no matter how hard I tried,
it was too much for me to hide.

Six months ago my heart was blue,
distroyed by love, broken in two,
and no matter what I do,
it's too much for me to go through..

Now six months later my heart is finally free,
healed by love and happy memories,
and for as long as my heart can see,
I will love you, that is my guarantee.

    This poem was great.
    You explained the feelings of heartbreak extremely well and made me feel for you.

    There was a spelling mistake with destroyed. It has an "I" instead of an "e"

    I love how you also went through and talked about your heart being free.

    Some poems will keep going on about their heart never healing but they do heal, it just takes time. sometimes quickly but usually a long time.

    Firstly I would like to say that I enjoyed the rhyme and flow in this piece. It makes for a nice read.
    Second, I think it is brilliant how you used the two emotions of happy and sad and make the transition between them smooth.
    yet again you wrote a very nice poem!
