Like copper

by broken wings   Apr 12, 2007

Here's what it tastes like
like copper don't you see?
this is what keeps me going
this is dark red energy

we all die you did know
but we live our lives quiet
we embrace the pain inside our hearts
as we feed the jenti riot

and i think it's nice
that i taste your lips
and not your sacrifice
creeping blood i sip

but you know how i am lonely
and i love having you to feel
the only thing i know is left
the last thing that is real

and though my love is lifeless
i know my heart is healed
because you've resurrected me from my ashes
and i know this love is real

and as our lips brush
you know what i need
a sliver kiss
so, you don't tease
