Until This Day

by Samantha   Apr 12, 2007

Until this day i loved you so,
now on this day i grieve for you more.
I can't help but cry,
death shall take its pry.
I wished you'd live forever.

Whever i look i see your face,
it makes me pace.
In this sad mournful house i can only think about,
your body in the grave when i seem to crave.
I drop to my knees to pray,
death has caught it's prey.
Black is all i see as we stand around,
this might be the day we all thought
would never come around.
On that day our words were right,
we said until this day and you're no
longer in my sight.

Well i'm going to give you a little help on this poem i hope you dont mind. I think you should capitalize each letter of each line to make the format look much neater.

These two lines were much longer then the rest and need to be trimmed down a bit maybe like this for example:

In this sad and mournful house,
I think about your body in that grave,
And this is when i seem to crave.

I think it would make the poem look a little neater. maybe if you put this poem into stanzas. Add a little to it, it would become a 5/5 from people who have read it instead of a 4.

    Good work tho. well done~mel
