My Wishes and Dreams

by Samantha   Apr 13, 2007

Wishing, praying, thinking
Hoping, dreaming, crying
Wanting more than anything
To be held in your arms
Summery days and cold winter nights
Pass us by like the clouds above
But now you're the only thing I think of
My eyes see, my lungs breathe, my hearts beats
But they do that only for you
You're the only one this body wants
You're the only one it will bend to
Wishing, praying, thinking
Hoping, dreaming, crying
Wanting you more than anything
And regretting you aren't here

This was a really good poem because it was short but descriptive.

    "Wishing, praying, thinking
    Hoping, dreaming, crying
    Wanting you more than anything
    And regretting you aren't here"

I could really feel the emotion in this stanza. The deep desire to want someone to be there and then feeling disappointed when you realise there not there. Great write! :]

    Take Care,
    Bonnie
