The kill

There is a fight over you
Two battling away
Trying to prove their love
There will be bloodshed today

Armour and shields
Fall deep in the skin
Leave deep, deep scars
Their ambition is to win

A cut to the hand
Stabbing of the heart
Stumbling to the ground
His existence falling apart

The sword twirls around
Raises it above the victors head
' Please spare my life lad '
It's all the loser said

Yet the sword plummets down
So swiftly with skill
Buries deep in the flesh
The kill

    that stanza was my all time favorite. especially, "his existence is falling apart" part.
    i dont think i've read anything like this one before.
