Black Skies

by Romancing the Darker Side   Apr 14, 2007

Black skies fly over the dreamer
Mourning encompasses her death
The winds she blew and fantasies she drew
Allowed crisp stars to steal her breath

Black clouds rain on the poet
Writing has now become a sin
The things she wrote, many a note
Let small raindrops take the win

Black suns embody the lover
Quiet and dull as she may be
The men she loved and women she hugged
Made fluffy clouds set her free

Black blood covers the cutter
Suicide is no longer a last resort
Black and white days fading through greys
Told black to make a final retort

For a thirteen year old you have quite remarkable vocabulary. I liked the descriptions in this poem, it had great imagery and the flow wasn't choppy at a lot of parts.
