Cold and still so soft

by broken wings   Apr 15, 2007

So silently
like midnight snow
though it's stained a darker red
nobody will ever know

i miss you so far
and the collision of your kiss
and all of the silent smiles
that let me in on this

laying on the ground
cold and still so soft
i lay there with you
and i wish i could've stopped

i fall around your ghost
as it unwraps my fears
sinking slowly into you
and the whispers in my ears

silent wings fall upon my back
my heart bound and broken
but i feel you again in my arms
and then i know a vampire's spoken

I really liked this one, a lot.

    "i miss you so far
and the collision of your kiss
and all of the silent smiles
that let me in on this"

that by far, was my favorite line.

    Very good poem, I really liked it, A very good flow and well written. This verse really standed out to me though;

    i fall around your ghost
    as it unwraps my fears
    sinking slowly into you
and the whispers in my ears

Good lines, great job, looking forward to more of you're poems.
