Papi (my baby)

You've got little feet
with little stubby toes.
a big round head,
and a little turned up nose

skins the color of milk,
you have beautiful brown eyes
little rolls of chubbiness
and little thunder thighs

you're smile is so beautiful
even though you have no teeth.
and I know you love your blanky
that you sometimes hide beneath

you love to play peek-a-boo...
it makes you laugh so hard.
and the smallest things amaze you...
even a baseball card.

and when you take a bath
you just splash everywhere!
but when your bath is done
I clothe you and brush your hair

sometimes you're a little piggy
cause when you see your food
you start going all crazy
and get in an excited mood

but everything you do is cute...
all of it makes me smile.
and givng birth to you hurt real bad,
but it was all worth my while.
