Unloving Pleasure

by JustBeingDevine   Apr 16, 2007

The coldness of the night air
Makes me wonder if I am exposed to the
Echo of darkness screaming in my soul
Sends shivers down my spine.
The loneliness that consumes my dark skies
Unloving pleasure is all I know, black blanket of lust
Sinful winds smearing tears of shame
Smothering fury in my head
What I thought to be true
Had all been a lie
No one has loved me
Consumed by my every breath
As if I were the air in the sky

Don't ever change your writing style, keep it short and good as usual. You have lovely poems.

The imagery in this poem just blows my mind! Especially:
Echo of darkness screaming in my soul
    Sends shivers down my spine.
The loneliness that consumes my dark skies
Unloving pleasure is all I know, black blanket of lust
Sinful winds smearing tears of shame

Great JOB Jenn! 5/5 keep up the good work. -Unattractive1
