You Said

You said you loved me, you said you cared
you said you would never leave but your not there
I believed every word you said to me, I thought that it was true
maybe I was a little naive to have such faith in you

You said wed be friends forever until our ending day
but to you the end was close, you let it come our way
you said you would never lie, you said without me you couldn't breath
but just when I opened up I was quickly deceived

You said that without me, you would die of a broken heart
but your the one who caused us to suddenly be apart
you didn't even care it was like everything was erased
now I see you with another, how could I quickly be replaced

Now the memories just linger in circles in my mind
I long for the truth but the truth I cannot find
you didn't even bother to tell me what all this nuisance was about
you didn't turn to look at me when you were walking out

So from than on until now, all I seem to do
is cry for a man I love and wish he would have loved me to
But I guess thats how life is, we love than we lose
Now I know for next time, to be careful of who I choose
