My Pain

by Tracy D Rollings   Apr 17, 2007

I wake in the morning wondering how it would be
to get out of bed and be pain free.

To walk around with a smile on my face
and know that happiness has took it's place.

But i know it's a dream and will never come true
because the doctors say there's nothing they can do.

They give no reason they can't explain
and my tears come down, like falling rain.

So i live my life with all this pain
and it's enough to drive me insane.

So i pray at night, that it will go away
but i wake up next morning, to another painful day.©2007 Tracydr42

    Tracy,
I sympathize with your pain. Just know that there will be no pain when we are called home and enter the gates of Heaven. I know you have experienced more pain than any normal human should go through, both physical and emotionally. I will pray for some relief from your pain. You are in my prayers, as always

I relate totally to this poem. I wake to pain everyday also. Yet if you open your heart you will still find joy and happiness. Remember God is always walking beside you.
