I Believe in Fantansies

by KT Mackey   Apr 17, 2007

The sound of a thousand warriors
On the deep texts of the page
Screaming their anxieties
For all the world to hear.

Though none can see what I see
All captured in there minds
And none can know what I know
For that they can never find.

For all they are are listeners
And all they believe is their sight
But none can hear the call of death
When before them it takes it's flight.

I can see what none else can
For I believe in more
And I can hear their heartbreak
Though none themselves implore.

I believe in fantasies
I'm no realist, you can tell
I know somewhere down the path of time
All will see it's real.
