Out Own Story(Romeo&Juliet)

by KelseyinWonderland   Apr 20, 2007

I can't look away,
The imperfections stand out.
But he's taught me so much,
Thing I never thought I'd care about.

Like how to love,
Without getting heartbroken.
The meaning of life,
My getaway token.

To this life or the next,
Or maybe your own.
With him I knew,
I wasn't alone.

I felt more alive,
Then I ever could dream.
Life was good,
Better than it seemed.

The outside shell,
So broken and battered.
To him was perfect,
Because that never mattered.

I just wanted peace,
Within my heart.
This raging war inside of me,
Was tearing me apart.

I left that behind,
I had to get away.
He taught me that,
I still listen today.

I notice the small things,
I used to pass by.
The things I ignored,
Now make me cry.

Louder than ever,
The beat of my heart.
It was only the beginning,
But it was a start.

He's long gone now,
But he left his mark.
His unforgettable impression,
Still left in my heart.

I miss him in life,
I'll miss him in death.
I'll miss him forever,
With my last breath.

I'll see him again,
It's my last hope.
If I'm nearing death,
And I can't cope.

I'll find a way,
I always do.
It's what he taught me,
I'll make it through.

I'll look past the hurt,
I'll look past he lies.
Until this guilt,
Inside of me dies.

Tomorrow I'll wait,
Under the tree.
The on where he asked,
"Will you marry me?"

I'll give him the answer,
it's a fifty-fifty chance.
That we'll be together,
For one last dance.

We'll sneak away,
A daring bet.
Our own story,
Of Romeo and Juliet.
